About ElderCare Across the Miles
My name is Maria Rowell. I am 64 and have lived in
Sonoma County, CA for the past 17 years. For 16 of
those years I helped my parents with their daily needs,
eventually becoming my widowed mother’s primary caregiver
as she reached her 90’s. My experience in coordinating
their care introduced me to the wealth of services and
resources available for aging parents in my community.
My caregiving experience is both background and
inspiration for the service I offer.
