• 16 years of caring for aging parents and researching available community resources
• Ready to help your senior sign up for services , including non-profits such as Meals on Wheels and the county paratransit bus service
• Good at troubleshooting to solve problems quickly, efficiently and with cost-consciousness
• Experience in interviewing and hiring in-home helpers
• Knowledgeable about local volunteer groups, housekeeping services, transportation services, senior centers, food banks, religious and social outreach programs
• Personal access to professionals in my community specializing in elder care issues: medical, nursing, social worker, attorney and paralegal, and more
• Empathy as a daughter who understands how much families need to feel they are doing everything possible for their aging parents
